This video had been commissioned by Eversholt Rail Group Human Resources to showcase the job opportunities and corporate culture that makes the company stand out among other railway industry players.

Redenex, the events management company, runs series of business tours for people who are looking to get inspiration from and share experience with their colleagues in other countries. So far, Redenex runs this type of events for two industries - Real Estate and Retail.

This was shot in one day with "Let's make a scene" meetup group. I did camera and editing, and this was also my first exercise in colour grading in DaVinci. The writer/director Rocio subsequently decided to reshoot the film in a different style which we did over a few weekends in the summer 2015. The next version of the film is in post-production.
Synopsis:
Zendo is an immigrant from a small country living on a boat in London. He does not speak English, he can only speak Dromelo, so nobody understands him. He is a hard-working person, but socially isolated, insecure and lonely. One day he walks home from a night shift, and he meets a young woman, who could be his daughter, who becomes his only friend and companion...
The Night Escape is a short comedy. A 17-years old Lisa is desperate to escape to meet her boyfriend Alan, but there is strict father on her way. Will he let her go out at this late hour?
Starring beautiful Rebecca Ward and talented writer/actor Mark Sweet.
The Night Escape has been shot on 16 mm film. This is my graduation film from the London Film Academy Filmmaking Certificate course.
This is my second directing experience with Let's make a scene group. Heart-breaking drama written by Rowan Armstrong. Starring my teammates Mani, Eri and Federica. Filmed in 6 hours on my birthday, which made it a really special day. Thanks to all the crew!

Here is our pre-Christmas effort - a little film by Lumi Akintoye shot on freezing day with only handheld camera. I did the camera work together with Jen Kerr and even briefly acted as an angel :-)
Time was directed by Vaskar Kayastha at our Let's make a scene group meeting. The task for that week was to create a short film based on the idea of 'space'. The film plays with the notion of space around the characters as well as between them. There is no dialogue - just one piece of poetry.
More excitingly, I finally had an opportunity to test my brand new gadgets including follow focus and new 1.5/35mm lens. Happy with results, and Vaskar did an amazing job editing the film.

To celebrate the bonfire night, I spent the whole evening with London Meetup group Let's Make a Scene directing #shortfilm Boom! which contains violence, fights, blood and, more appropriately, explosions. Directing without having my hands on camera was one of the most challenging things I've ever done! But at the end we did manage to complete the story on time. The whole thing was filmed and edited in one evening, so it might be not perfect...but I hope that it is as much fun to watch as it was to film.
Another meeting with London Meetup group Let's Make a Scene. We filmed this in 3 hours as an exercise on the topic "Telephone and Hesitation". Never mind that we missed the point that it should have been a commercial as well. Instead - here is a bit of drama and action.
This short film is a kids' comedy sketch. The presenters of the cooking show demonstrate how to use the key principles of Thai cuisine for combining flavours to achieve perfect combinations... This is a first episode in what we are hoping will be series of comedy sketches.
This is short video clip produced for Austameric about their inititiative for young people looking to gain new skills in furniture remaking. They run a workshop which is free for participants, and everyone gets a chance to remake a chair, learn the skills and earn some money if the chair is sold.

Building Bloqs is not just a workshop for hire, it is so much more! However, in the first place it is a collaborative community of artists, makers and doers who come together under one roof to share tools, knowledge and opportunities.
Having spent a few hours at Building BloQs, I got deeply immersed into incredibly friendly, creative and supportive atmosphere, where anyone with any level of skills is welcome.
